Archaeological site of Delphi

The magnificent sanctuary of Apollo at Delphi, built in the imposing natural landscape of Mt. Parnassus, was considered the “center of the earth”. It had universal radiance, as it was the most widely known oracle of antiquity since the 6th century BC. The wise Delphic instructions and the oracles of Apollo, given through Pythia, remain legendary to this day.
